Qualifying Exam Guideline

| Content | The presentation should focus mainly on the student’s research background and the subsequent questions from the committee should be answered properly. |
| Time | 15 minutes of presentation + 30 minutes of Q&A |
| Passing Standard | Above 70 out of 100 (including 70) – Basic knowledge and understanding (50) + Presentation Contents (30) + Presentation ability and attitude (20) |
| Note | – Those who failed the first Q.E are allowed to take 1 more Q.E in the next semester (Students cannot take Q.E twice within 1 semester) – Both Ph.D and MS-Ph.D students must pass the Q.E within their 6th semester |
