2025.03.07Dear CN graduate students,
This is a notification of Credit Carryover/Credit Transfer in Spring semester, 2025.
Please refer to the following information and attachments as below;

| Scope of Implementation | 1. Credits that exceeds the credits required for graduation from the bachelor’s program among the credits acquired after taking the UNIST master’s program courses while enrolled in the UNIST bachelor’s program
2. Among credits taken and acquired in UNIST master’s program courses, graduate program course credits that may be cumulatively recognized as Ph.D. program completion credits.
Credit earned from a previous degree is recognized after the relevant committee reviews whether the submitted credit can be recognized as accumulated credit. Applications to reduce credits without good reason are not accepted.

| Grade Restriction | Only courses with B0 (3.0) or higher credits acquired at the time of application for credit transfer and carryover shall be recognized. |
| Credit Transfer Scope | All or part of the course credits completed in the lower programs. |
| Handling of Grades | The grades shall be marked as they were acquired in each UNIST program.
In the case of credit carryover, they shall be included in the calculation of the GPA of each program. |

Credit Transfer
| Scope of Implementation | 1. Among those who entered the school after dropping out of another graduate program, credits for graduate program courses acquired while enrolled in the same or a similar program at another graduate school.
2. In the case of a person who was a graduate student at this school and then newly entered again after dropping out, credits for graduate program courses acquired while enrolled in the same or a similar program. |
| Grade Restriction | Only courses with B0 (3.0) or higher credits acquired at the time of application for credit transfer and carryover shall be recognized. |
| Credit Transfer Scope | One-half of the course credits for completed courses in each program and major |
| Handling of Grades | The grades shall be marked as they were acquired in each UNIST program.
In the case of credit transfer, they shall be excluded from the calculation of the overall GPA of each program. |

How to Apply: Download the form from Portal/Use attachment→ Get approval from the instructor (Get the sign. directly or a seal from the admin. with an approval E-mail) → Upload approved application and transcript → Enter approved subject in portal → Submit the paper to Academic & Students Affairs Team
